Every youth within Department of Child Services (DCS) programs has experienced some form of trauma. Most often, they have experienced multiple traumas. Through no fault of their own, many older youth in foster care will not be adopted, undergo a guardianship, or reunify with their parents. Help us help them!

We’re excited to launch the fundraising stage for the sparQ program. The sparQ program creates multiple levels of scholarship AND subsidized housing for foster youth in the program. Our scholarships will cover the following:

  • Assistance and tutoring for GED

  • Assistance and training for TRADES

  • Assistance and tuition for COLLEGE

Consider joining us as we support local youth! For questions or more details, please contact sparq@themarksfoundation.org.
